The Black Love Brown Pride Los Angeles Tech Conference for Teens unites hundreds of young men of color and tech professionals for a day full of inspirational workshops about the intersection of computer science and entertainment, music, sports, virtual reality and entrepreneurship. Attendees will be inspired to pursue wide-ranging careers. In addition, we aim to spark the minds of youth who will change the world. The conference is an effort to help young men of color to change the way we think, change the way they treat each other and change the way innovation happens. Black Love Brown Pride will be a platform where young men of color will celebrate being smart, confident and able to accomplish any dream imaginable.
TXT: Teens Exploring Technology is the premier technology organization developing teens from South Los Angeles, Watts, and Compton into a new generation of innovators and technology leaders. We use computer science (CS) and entrepreneurship to promote positive youth development, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and ultimately, pave the way to higher education and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Our programs have garnered recognition from President Barack Obama and news outlets like the Los Angeles Times, KTLA and Mashable.
We need supporters like you to lend your name, employees and financial support to make Black Love Brown Pride a success. Your support motivates young men of color to stay off the streets and dream big. You are changing the world and we want young men of
color to know about it.
Come tell your story and help transform the next generation of entrepreneurs. We're already working with prominent leaders like rapper/tech entrepreneur Lupe Fiasco. Join us to inspire students to overcome their fear of computer science and achieve true greatness within the tech sector.
